We're excited to coordinate Coquitlam’s contribution to the Canada 150 Mosaic project mural! Coquitlam residents are invited to paint 4” x 4” tiles that will become part of Coquitlam’s mosaic. Each tile will later be assembled into a large mural grid, magically transforming the paintings into a unified mosaic that celebrates Coquitlam's history.

Robokids Teaches: LEGO Robotics

Build LEGO machines with the help of a friendly Robokids instructor. For kids from K to grade 3.

Discovering Coding with Sphero Robots

Children in grades 3 - 5 are introduced to basic coding and engineering challenges. Offered in partnership with Innovation Works Foundation.

Reading Buddies

ReadingBuddiesgraphicforweb1Reading Buddies is a program that pairs teens in high school with kids in grades 1 to 4. It's a great way for kids to practice reading, and for teens to accumulate volunteer service hours.

Who can be a Reading Buddy?
Big Buddies must be at least 14 years old and in grades 9, 10, 11 or 12. Little Buddies must be in grades 1, 2, 3 or 4. For the summer sessions, we will accept applications for teens who have finished grade 8, and kids who have completed Kindergarten.
