Library Champions Book Club

For adults learning English, who read at an intermediate ESL level and up. Book is chosen the month before the book club meeting. Opportunity to meet others and discuss books in a friendly setting. Members meet on the first or second Wednesday of each month from 7:15 - 8:30 pm at the City Centre branch.

ESL Book Club

Newcomers and intermediate ESL readers are invited to join the ESL Book Club, which meets on Thursdays once every month from 10:00 – 11:15 am in the Board Room at the Poirier Branch.

The Book Club is led by English-speaking volunteers from Soroptimists International, an organization that works to educate and empower women and girls.

If you enjoy reading at your ESL level and meeting new people in a friendly group, drop in and try the ESL Book Club!

CPL has a small group of volunteer tutors who work with adults attending beginner level Foundations/ESL classes at Coquitlam Continuing Education. For more info, contact Janice Williams at 604-554-7337.

English Practice Groups

Looking for a friendly and fun place to practice your English, meet new friends and learn more about your local community? Join this FREE, drop-in program held at various locations across the Tri-Cities. There is no need to pre-register, simply go to a group that suits you. There is no scheduled start date.
