new-and-improved-catalogue

Coquitlam Public Library has made exciting changes to its catalogue. Customers searching the catalogue or logging into their online account will notice a fresh, new, and visually stunning interface.

It’s not just the appearance of the catalogue that has changed. The various functions of the catalogue make it easier than ever to find what you are looking for.

Easy and accurate searches:

Enter a title, subject, or author into the search bar located at the top of the screen to perform a keyword search. From the search results, view all the available formats of a given title listed in one place.

Find your next read:

Not sure what to look for? No problem! Click on the Explore button on the navigation bar to browse new and on order titles, award winning titles, bestsellers, and staff picks. Each item record will also provide details such as plot summary, related titles, series information, community ratings and comments, and book lists featuring the title.

Borrow a Libby eBook or audiobook:

Place holds, borrow, and read Libby eBooks and audiobooks without leaving the catalogue.

Customize your profile and reading life:

• Track your reading with “for later”, “in progress”, and “completed” book shelves.
• Create lists for yourself or share them with others.
• Add unique tags to items to categorize your items to your own preference

We invite library users to sign in to our preview catalogue with their library card number and PIN, and set up a profile. Tour the catalogue, search for items, place holds, create lists, add reviews. Then, let us know your thoughts! To share feedback:

1. Look for the orange “Share feedback” button located at the bottom of most catalogue pages. Note, you must be logged in to the catalogue to share feedback.
2. Select a category and input your feedback.
3. Click “Share feedback” to submit your comment.
