Library Lounge Interior

Located at Poirier branch, this space is designed for social interactions and features comfortable furniture, tabletop games and puzzles, and art by local artists. Everyone is welcome in the Lounge!

We are grateful for the Province of BC's Enhancement Grant that made this possible.

Room Usage Guidelines

  • The Lounge is open to everyone at the same time. Meetings may be held in the space, though other people may also be using the space and engaged in other activities at the same time. 
    • The space is unavailable for private bookings. For room rentals, visit Room Bookings »
  • Games and puzzles are available to use on a first come, first serve basis. When finished, please place all pieces back into the box and return the game or puzzle to the shelves in the nook. 
    • If you find that pieces are missing, please report it to the Help Desk staff. 
*Access may be limited when Library Events are held in the space.
