Discovery Lab
Located at the City Centre branch, the Discovery Lab is a unique space where you can interact with technology, games, and eResources. The room features our Lendable Technology collection and a staff member will be available most days to do demonstrations.
We are grateful for the Province of BC's Enhancement Grant that made this possible.
Programs & Events
Each month, we showcase one item in our lendable technology collection, and one eResource. Our Library Technician will demonstrate the technology and answer your questions.

Seniors Tech Clinics
Drop-in for one-on-one tech help. Support is available for basic tech questions such as using email, searching the Internet, downloading eBooks, and setting up social media accounts. We can also assist with basic computer and technology troubleshooting questions.

- The Discovery Lab is open and accessible to everyone during the City Centre branch's regular hours.
- Space may be limited during Library programs, events, and demos.

- Demonstrations of lendable technology are offered.

- Video games, including X-Box, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch games.
- For video game check-outs, take a video game case to the Help Desk.
- Demonstrations of Ozobots, Spheros, Happy Lights, and more items from our lendable technology collection.
- Posters and a TV screen showcasing lendable tech and eResources that the Library subscribes to.
