Get a Library Card

Library memberships are free to all residents in Coquitlam and all areas served by Interlink Libraries.

How to Apply

  • Provide picture and address ID.
  • Apply online and a physical library card will be mailed out to your home address.
  • You can also apply in-person at City Centre branch, Poirier branch or the Library Link community outreach vehicle.
  • Anyone under 14 years old must have a parent or legal guardian with them when they register. The parent/guardian must bring picture and address ID. A legal guardian must also have proof of legal guardianship.

How to Use Your Library Card

  • Use your card to borrow items and to use online services and databases from home.
  • If you lose your card, please contact us immediately; we will cancel the old card and issue a new one for a small fee. If you are moving, please let us know so that we can update your record.
